Graffiti is a cultural form expressed in art where people can express his idea or thinking about of something in a wale or smoot surface. So this style of communication is very used for graffitist like a form of protest, because show graphically the reality that can be living a society.

Colombia:

Bogota is an example where the violence happens every days. Streets and murals reflect the non-conformism of citizens against of state, so according to video Tom talk about when he lived in Bogota and says that all this culture

of graffitists  vent all that this culture feel,  protesting whit words and images not whit violence.

Honduras:

The situation here is very different to another country like in Argentina where the freedom of expression is very accepted for citizens. But In Honduras more specifically in Tegucigalpa, is not accepted for government where police pursue this community and in many occasions artists or graffitists  have hide  to draw something and so to trait of say their ideas.

Brazil:

In Brazil the corruption is a problem that affect all their people, furthermore people cannot express their opinion in artistic form because this expressions is banned here. However, artists express nonverbal communications painting graffitists although this language to protest can cause their many problems.

In all these countries graffitists is seen like a nonverbal communications to give an critic opinion about the corruption of states, police and any others problems in the country, so it can be compared whit the north Africa because here people trait to protest about the same social problems but they do it by using blogs.

Bangkok's Mexican Gangsters

Today exist many people in several parts of world that are adopting behaviors, conducts, customs and dress form propertied of other subcultures because  of a lot of aspects like fashion, style or simply they want adopt it. It is the case of the Thai gangsters; they are a clearly example of adopting of another subculture where they have been practicing lifestyle of Mexican gangster since several years. Their dress form (for example, by using baggy white shirts) and tattoos reflect the great impact that this Mexican subculture has caused to their. Thai gangsters have appropriated this type of subculture to their original culture and although they are from Thailand, a country very different to Mexican, they have right of practice this culture. But it should be pointed out that this appropriation only is adapted to positive part of this group like is tattoos, estheticism and clothes because according to video Thai don’t appreciate the brutal violence in the behavior of Latin group like Latin Kings. 

They like to do this because they can enjoy with their friends and despite they practice this culture, they have a normal life. That appropriation of another culture we can also observe in Colombia like is the case of Halloween’s celebration that is a party where originally it is celebrated in Anglo-Saxon countries. So we can learn of this many things, one of them and the most important is that the world is MULTI-CULTURAL and we cannot say that in a specific place of world exist one alone culture because it is fake, in any part of world can exist a lot of types of culture coming form of that place and other places. Mexico and Thailand are two countries too far, but culture can bring them.

RACISM in AFROColombian, a sad REALITY

In Colombia is very sad that a ethnic group  like is Afro-Colombian  is treated like a inferior group because of high grades of racism that is presented in any place in the country. Afro-Colombian is a ethnic group that have given a lot of things positive to Colombia like a musical legacy and excellent people that individually have been stood out for their talents (numerous sporty, greats professionals, singer recognized, etc), but all that is not sufficient. Every day we listen news in newspaper, T. V or radio about cases in racism  in any place of Colombia. 

Now, We must understand that racism to people Afro- Colombian of Buenaventura, Cali, Cartagena, etc is causing poverty, deaths and lack of education and  opportunity to members of this community according to statistics. So we have to reconsider that Afro-Colombian are part of our country, and they like  any other person   have the same opportunities and laws to triumph and to have a good lifestyle. So.... NOT RACISM..
